interface with our company, that person is in an all-powerful position

VAC is led by Kevin Rupkey, a service contract industry veteran. Mr. Rupkey, spent fourteen years at GE in a variety of capacities. He later ran Warrantech Consumer Product Services and Warrantech Home Service Company, and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Assurant Consumer Services (a.k.a. Federal Warranty Service Corp.), a Fortis subsidiary. Most recently he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for 2-10 Home Buyers Resale Warranty Corp. Rupkey brings with him a proven track record of success in leading high quality warranty organizations as well as a wealth of experience in the service contract industry.

Mr. Trigo has over fifteen years of combined experience in the retail, service contract and consumer electronics industries. He spent ten years with Panasonic Company in a variety of roles in the areas of warranty administration and service marketing. He also served a key account manager for major retailers. Frank then served as Director Product Development for Assurant Consumer Services (aka Federal Warranty Service Corp.). Most recently he served as Director, Real Estate Channel for HMS/Cross Country Home Services, a leading home warranty provider. Frank has extensive experience in marketing, and has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Phoenix. He holds a Bachelors degree in Management as well as Master of Business Administration.

Bruce Wolfson has been directly involved in the sales and marketing of Extended Service Plans (ESP’s) for the past 12 years, almost all of them with VAC Service. He additionally brings to VAC his experience of many years in his family’s appliance/television business where he became well-versed in the nuances of retailing service plans to consumers. He is also a salesman’s salesman, having worked with Service Merchandise as a sales trainer. The combination of his sales background and his experience with service plan sales both as a retailer and with VAC ideally suit Wolfson for his current responsibilities as head of all VAC sales in North America.

Vince Romano was practically born into
the service business. Before coming to VAC a dozen or more years
ago, Vince worked with J.C. Penney in a high level service position
for 17 years. Prior to that he was with G.T.E. (at that time, Sylvania
Corp.), and earlier with RCA, all in the service end of their businesses.
His broad experience and knowledge of customer services is a major
asset to the company.

Karen Murtagh,
Vice President, Human Resources

Karen Murtagh
has played a growing role in helping VAC Service prepare for and
manage the tremendous growth the company has experienced in recent
years. With the mandate to regard the companys human resourcesits
peopleas the future of our company, Karen was promoted to
her present position in 2001. She is steeped in VAC Services
culture, having joined the company as a college intern and then
accepting a full-time position upon graduation in 1992 as a
personnel administrator. Karen was promoted to Director of Human
Resources in 1997, and to Assistant Vice President, Human Resources,
in June, 2000. She received Human Resources Management Certification
from Marist College in 1997
